Employment

  • Multimedia Systems Architect2007 - Present

    Babson College

As a product manager, instructional designer, trainer/facilitator, content producer, and systems architect, my job at Babson is to create effective and engaging learning experiences. I drive product vision for online and hybrid education programs from ideation through design to delivery by working cross-functionally with in-house developers, software vendors, instructional designers, and content creators.

  • Web Designer/Video Producer1999 - Present

Self-Employed Web Design & Video Production Consultancy

As a web and video consultant, I help my clients increase their web presence, traffic, and conversion rates by designing and developing engaging and dynamic web sites and by advising on social media marketing and SEO strategies. I also produce high-quality marketing, documentary, and instructional video content.

  • Reprographics Manager2003 - 2007

    Interprint, Inc.

I was recruited by Interprint to bring a new product development process in-house and to improve current production processes. The projects I led saved $MM in outsourcing costs while improving turnaround times, design quality, and customer responsiveness. In the first year, I led the creation of a design that was purchased by Formica, an industry leader. To accomplish all this, I had to manage cross-functionally and work collaboratively with vendors and global industry experts. I also hired, trained, and managed two new employees.

  • Graphic Designer2002 - 2003

    FedEx Office

I created dynamic print designs by applying my knowledge of two-dimensional design principles and ensured delivery of orders with tight deadlines and fast turnaround times by planning and coordinating with other production team members.

  • Course Producer1998 - 2002

    Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

I designed and created content for RPI's distance and online education programs. I directed the production of live broadcast classes, managed course websites, and produced learning assets with Flash, PowerPoint, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver.
